CHOICES, PATTERNS, & RESPONSIBILITY- We’re talking about action—not just what you do, but what you avoid, delay, or buffer. It’s so easy to think we’re stuck when really, we’re just caught in patterns we haven’t slowed down to notice. In this episode, I’m showing you how your actions (or inaction) are always pointing back to something deeper. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, scattered, or stalled out, this episode will help you get honest, get curious, and take one small step forward with intention and peace.
THREE KEY TAKEAWAYS:
Your actions—both what you do and what you avoid—are driven by emotion and reveal what you really believe.
Buffering behaviors aren’t bad—they’re protective. But they often keep us from progress when left unexamined.
Intentional action isn’t about hustle—it’s about alignment with who you’re becoming and the legacy you want to leave.
LISTENER CHALLENGE:Journal this question: “What are my actions teaching me about what I believe?” Then ask yourself what one aligned action you can take this week that reflects the truth, purpose, and legacy you want to live out.

FEEL DEEPLY BUT LEAD WISELY- Do your emotions ever feel like they’re running the show? In this episode of StoryMakers, we’re talking about the role of emotions in your personal growth and leadership journey. Emotions are powerful—but they’re not always truthful. They can guide us, but they shouldn’t govern us.
We’ll unpack how emotional awareness is a form of self-leadership, how the PEARL framework helps us process what we’re feeling, and how Jesus modeled emotional honesty without being emotionally led. This is a must-listen for anyone navigating big feelings, leadership pressure, or inner transformation.
KEY TAKEAWAYS:
Emotions are indicators, not instructors. They’re valid signals, but they shouldn’t drive your decisions.
Every emotion is connected to a belief. If you want to shift how you feel, explore what you’re believing.
Emotional self-leadership is a Kingdom practice.Jesus felt deeply—but He was always led by truth, not by emotion.

LISTENER CHALLENGE:
Practice the Pause:When strong emotions come up, ask:
What am I feeling?
What belief is behind it?
What does God say about this?
Journal Prompt:“One emotion I’ve been avoiding or mismanaging is ___. What might it be pointing to beneath the surface?”
Scripture Meditation:
Proverbs 4:23 – “Guard your heart…”
Psalm 139:23–24 – “Search me, O God…”
2 Corinthians 10:5 – “Take every thought captive…”

SHIFT YOUR PARADIGM, CHANGE YOUR LIFE- What if the story you’re living isn’t broken—but the beliefs beneath it are? In this episode of StoryMakers, we’re diving into the power of paradigm—the foundational beliefs that shape how you think, feel, act, and lead. You’ll learn how false narratives form, how to recognize the ones you’ve unknowingly agreed with, and how to replace them with truth rooted in Scripture.

KEY TAKEAWAYS:
Your life is always moving in the direction of your dominant thoughts.Beliefs drive behavior. If you want to change your story, you must examine your paradigm.
Worldly paradigms say “do more to be more,” but the Kingdom says “you are, therefore you can.”Your worth isn’t earned—it’s received.
You can’t lead others well if you’re living from lies.Self-leadership starts with replacing false beliefs with God’s truth.

STORYMAKER CHALLENGE:
Journal Prompt:“A belief I’ve carried that no longer serves me is…”Then write: “The truth I’m choosing instead is…”
Scripture Meditation:
Romans 12:2 – “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are God’s workmanship…”
Ask God in prayer:“What story am I living from—and what story are You inviting me into?”

Ever wake up and wonder, “Who am I, really?” or feel like no matter how much you do, it’s never enough? You’re not alone—and you’re not broken. In this episode, we unpack the root of identity struggles and what it means to stop building your identity and start receiving it from the One who made you.
I'm sharing my personal story of growing up under the shadow of lack and how God began rewriting my identity through truth, love, and grace. This episode is for the woman who’s tired of hustling for worth, caught between expectations, and craving something more stable than performance-based belonging.
You’ll learn how to shift your questions from “Who am I?” to “Whose am I?”—and why that small change leads to a massive transformation.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
Your identity is not something you earn—it’s something you inherit. You are not your role, your resume, or your results. You are a beloved daughter of God, and that truth is your foundation.
The world's identity script is broken.“You are what you do/have/what others say” will always leave you feeling unstable. God’s truth says you are loved, chosen, and called—regardless of circumstances.
Start from love, not for love.In the Kingdom, the order is Know → Be → Have → Do. When you know who you are in Christ, you live from a place of wholeness instead of chasing it.
Listener Challenge:
Take 15 minutes this week to sit with the Holy Spirit and ask:“What identity questions have I been asking?”Then ask, “God, what do You say about me?”
Write it down. Keep it somewhere you’ll see it often. Begin building a habit of reviewing what God has spoken. Let His voice define you—not your past, your performance, or people’s opinions.

7-Who Is a StoryMaker?

Wednesday Mar 19, 2025

Wednesday Mar 19, 2025

A StoryMaker is someone who is after God’s heart, intentionally pursues a relationship with Him, and takes personal responsibility for shaping their life according to His truth. Rather than living passively, a StoryMaker partners with the Holy Spirit to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth.
You are here because you desire to live with purpose. Like Esther, you may not fully see the impact of your life yet, but you sense a calling to something greater. You have a voice and a purpose, and it's time to cultivate the story you were meant to live.
Too often, we go through life unaware of the power we have—living by default, suppressing emotions, and blaming external circumstances. But the truth is, everything that can be shaken will be shaken so that what is unshakable remains (Hebrews 12:27). The question is, will you wait for crisis to wake you up, or will you step forward in faith now?
StoryMakers don’t wait for permission or perfect circumstances. We allow God to refine us, rise up for truth and justice, and plant seeds of faith—whether as small as a mustard seed or as big as an oak. We embrace our true identity, stand for what is right, and walk in love.
Join us as we unpack what it means to be a StoryMaker and how you can step boldly into your calling.
3 Key Takeaways:
A StoryMaker is not passive but intentional. Instead of waiting for circumstances to force change, a StoryMaker partners with God in the refining process and takes action.
Living by default is not our calling. We are meant to think about what we think, consciously choose what we believe, and embrace the full depth of our emotions rather than suppressing or ignoring them.
We co-create with God to impact generations. Being a StoryMaker is not just about personal growth but about bringing freedom, justice, and love to others through our actions and words.
Listener Challenge:
This week, take time to reflect on where you might be living by default rather than intention. Ask God to reveal an area of your life where He is inviting you to step forward in faith. Write down one action step you can take to align your story with His purpose—whether it’s speaking truth, stepping out in courage, or simply being faithful with what’s in front of you today.

SPIRITUAL ADOPTION- God calls YOU His daughter and that changes everything. I'm with Tamara Robbins today talking about the difference between living with an orphan mindset versus stepping into the security of being chosen and adopted by God. We also explore how emotional burdens, life transitions, and expectations can weigh us down and how to release them to the Lord. If you’ve ever felt like you had to carry it all, strive for worth, or struggle with shifting seasons in life, this episode will encourage you to rest in your true identity.
3 Key Takeaways:
1. You Are Adopted & Secure in Christ
Unlike earthly relationships, God’s adoption is permanent. In ancient Roman law, a biological child could be disowned, but an adopted child could not. This is a powerful picture of my unshakable place in God’s family.
2. Carrying Burdens You Weren't Meant to Carry Leads to Burnout
When I take responsibility for things that aren’t mine (like my adult children’s choices or my aging parents' situations), it leads to resentment and exhaustion. I must surrender control and trust God’s leadership.
3. Your Identity & Purpose Shift in Different Seasons—And That’s Okay
Life changes—kids leave home, careers shift, and my body ages. Instead of grasping for identity in roles, I must root myself in Christ, who remains constant through every transition.
Listener Challenge:
This week, I invite you to release control to God.
Write down three things you’ve been trying to control that are not yours to carry.
Pray over each one, surrendering them to God.
Speak this truth aloud: "God, I trust You. I am Your daughter, and I do not have to carry what isn’t mine. Lead me in what is mine to do, and give me peace in what is not.”

5-Foundations of True Identity

Thursday Mar 06, 2025

Thursday Mar 06, 2025

We are exploring the depths of our true identity in Christ. More than just a phrase, our identity is a mystery to be discovered- a wonderful journey of transformation from the inside out. Let's talk about what it means to be a threefold being (spirit, soul, and body) and how true change happens when our spirit leads our soul rather than the other way around. Through revelation, grace, and the ongoing work of Christ within us, we are being formed into who God designed us to be from the beginning.
Key Takeaways:
You Are a Threefold Being – Just as God is Father, Son, and Spirit, we are made in His image with a body, soul, and spirit. Our body is our outer being, our soul (mind, emotions, will, and personality) is the inner being, and our spirit is the innermost being that comes alive when we receive Jesus. True identity starts with our spirit being made alive in Christ. John 3:3, 5-7; 1 Peter 1:23; Ephesians 2
Transformation Works from the Inside Out – When we receive Jesus, our spirit is immediately born again, but our soul (mind, emotions, and will) undergoes an ongoing process of renewal. Rather than striving for outward transformation, we must allow our spirit to lead, influencing our soul and body with God's Truth. Romans 12:2; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Ezekiel 36:26
Your True Identity is Rooted in Relationship with the Father – God is constantly speaking to us, revealing who we are in Him. He longs for us to open our hearts, hear His voice, and live as His beloved sons and daughters. Identity is not something we earn; it is received through intimacy with Him. Galatians 4:6-7; Romans 8:14-17; John 10:27-28
Reflection & Action Step:Take a moment to pause and simply say, "Hi, Dad. I’m here." Let go of striving and allow yourself to be in His presence. Throughout your day- whether in the midst of busyness or stillness- practice listening to His voice and letting your spirit lead your soul. What is He saying to you about your identity right now?

4-From Powerless to Empowered

Tuesday Feb 18, 2025

Tuesday Feb 18, 2025

What if the life you’re living right now isn’t the full story God has for you? In this episode of StoryMakers, I sit down with my friend Eve, who has walked a powerful journey from feeling powerless—trapped by circumstances, fear, and self-doubt— to stepping into an empowered life through the revelation of God’s love. We’re talking about what it means to be truly empowered, how to break free from limiting mindsets, and why God’s love is the key to unlocking your true identity, purpose, and belonging. If you’ve ever struggled with feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of your place in the world, this episode is for you.
Living from God’s Love Instead of Fear
Eve shares how she once viewed God as a distant taskmaster, waiting for her to mess up. But through her journey, she discovered the truth of 1 John 4:18—"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear." When we truly know God as love, everything shifts. We stop striving, stop fearing, and start living from a place of security and confidence. Instead of being controlled by life’s circumstances, we realize we have the power to shape our thoughts, choices, and future in alignment with God’s purpose.
Key Takeaways
Renew Your Mind with Truth – Meditate on Scripture that affirms your identity in Christ. (Romans 12:2, 2 Corinthians 10:5)
Shift from Powerless to Empowered Thinking – Ask yourself: Am I letting fear control my choices, or am I acting from faith?
Take One Bold Step – You don’t have to have it all figured out. Start with one step toward the future God has for you.
Let Go of Fear & Shame – Recognize that shame is not your identity. God’s grace is sufficient. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Surround Yourself with Truth & Community – Seek out mentors, spiritual guidance, and godly friendships that encourage your growth.
Reflection & Action Steps
This week, reflect on a fear that’s been keeping you from stepping into your calling. Write it down and ask yourself: What would my life look like if I wasn’t afraid? Find a scripture that combats that fear and meditate on it daily.

What if you stopped waiting for the perfect opportunity and stepped into your calling today? In this episode of StoryMakers, I’m sharing my personal journey of discovering my identity, purpose, and belonging—and how I stopped waiting for someone else to invite me into my calling.
From a vision of speaking on a stage to actively build my own business and ministry, I realized that the only way forward was to take action in faith. I want to encourage you to be your own advocate, trust that God has equipped you, and stop waiting for the perfect moment or the right invitation.
We’ll talk about:✔ The moment I realized I needed to create the opportunities I was waiting for✔ Why identity, purpose, and belonging are deeply connected to leadership✔ How to overcome fear, self-doubt, and waiting for permission✔ The power of self-leadership in stepping into your God-given calling✔ The struggles I faced along the way—and how I learned to trust God’s process
Key Takeaways:
Stop waiting to be chosen—God already called you. Your purpose isn’t dependent on someone else’s validation.
Self-leadership is essential. When you learn to lead yourself well, you’ll be prepared to lead others in any sphere of influence.
Your struggles don’t disqualify you—they prepare you. Every challenge and season of searching is shaping you for the story you’re called to tell.
Reflection & Action Steps

Ephesians 2:10 – You are God’s masterpiece, created for good works.
Jeremiah 29:11 – God’s plans for you are good, filled with hope and a future.
2 Timothy 1:7 – You were not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
🔹 Speak Truth: Declare this: "I am called, chosen, and fully equipped for my God-given purpose. I will step forward in faith, trusting that He will lead me."🔹 Surround Yourself: Connect with like-minded women who encourage and challenge you to step into your calling.
